Constancy is the central theme of this reading and it suggests that we are being watched or supervised in regard to the situation or that the situation we are in is not likely to change for a while. This could simply be because the time is not right for that to happen. It is a bit like The Hanged Man in Tarot suggesting that we may be in a limbo and perhaps it is best to wait a bit (watch and learn) instead of taking action. The Thief and the Gift could indicate missed opportunities or that an opportunity that has come up recently requires some sort of cunning or trickiness in order to carry it out successfully.  This ties in with Constancy because if our actions are being monitored then we surely must be careful how we handle things.
